Patients have multiple options when booking a blood test.
1. Patients can decide to opt into our Phlebotomy e-booking process. To make an appointment via e-booking, open the link provided by your GP and follow the steps on your phone. This is a paperless system (no blood form is required).
2. The patient can choose to book online or via the contact centre. To make an appointment via the contact centre please call 01925 662011.
Blood tests are processed in the Pathology laboratory department in Warrington Hospital and turnaround times for results are dependant on the nature of the test requested.
Blood test clinic locations
Warrington Hospital
The Blood Clinic Outpatients Department, Warrington Hospital, located on the ground floor of Appleton Wing and is by appointment only.
Opening hours:
Monday to Friday, 9am to 4.50pm
Halton Hospital
The Blood Clinic is located in the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) in the Nightingale Building near the main entrance and is by appointment only.
Opening hours:
Monday to Friday: 8am to 6.20pm
Halton Health Hub
The clinic is within Halton Health Hub located in Runcorn Shopping City and is appointment only.
Opening hours:
Monday to Friday 9am to 12.50pm.
Children's (paediatric) blood tests
The Children’s and Young People's Outpatients Department is situated on the ground floor of Burtonwood Wing, Warrington Hospital and is an appointment only service.
Opening hours are: Monday and Wednesday, 8.30am to 4.50pm

Patients aged between 16 and 17 can attend the main Outpatient Department but must be accompanied by an adult.
