Nursing and midwifery

We work with our partner universities to support student placements for nursing degrees.

Our STEPP program is designed to support our non-medical pre-registration learners during their placements with us at WHH.

STEPP stands for Support, Transition, Education and Progress (to Preceptorship, and aims to support learners in their professional development every step of the way.  The aim is to provide a sense of belonging, encourage recruitment, and increase retention. The program includes regular 'check-in' sessions, clinical and non-clinical skills training as well as student forums and pastoral support.

Visit the Skills for Health website for details on the apprenticeship pathways in nursing.
